"Williamsburg Wives"

I began this project at the beginning of 2008. It is a depiction of two colonial ladies talking outside the Courthouse on the Duke of Gloucester St.
I originally wanted the piece to be two storey. It didn't work! So I set about cropping the painting. I also changed the brick color. My first attempt was too colorful, which made the characters disappear within the Flemish bond wall design.

Finally completed in November of 2008, this rendering will be a sure fire hit this year!
