My biggest challlenge with "Old Main" was deciding how to breathe new life into
a subject that has been the focus of many an artists eye and brush.

The setting of this striking landmark was the key to a unique rendering. I chose the tree
and the fallen leaves for the main focus of the work, thus adding color and interest
to the foreground.
